At Eastmont Baptist Church, we believe that God has not left us without help in the struggles of life. His Word is sufficient to guide, comfort, correct, and transform us (2 Timothy 3:16–17).
Biblical counseling is simply applying the truth of Scripture to real life, helping people grow in Christ in the midst of sin, suffering, and hardship. Biblical counseling is not primarily about techniques or therapy models—it is about discipleship.
Through careful listening, wise application of Scripture, and prayer, we seek to help people:
- Understand their situation in light of God’s Word
- Respond to life in ways that honor Christ
- Grow in faith, obedience, and hope
This is the kind of “one another” care Scripture calls every Christian to (Galatians 6:1–2; Romans 15:14). Our aim is not merely symptom relief, but heart-level transformation through the gospel.
What to Expect
Biblical counseling at Eastmont is:
- Word-centered — Scripture shapes every conversation
- Christ-focused — Real change comes through knowing and following Jesus
- Relational — Counseling happens in the context of care and accountability
- Practical — We work toward real, actionable growth
- Hope-filled — God promises to work in His people (Philippians 1:6)
Sessions typically involve conversation, Scripture, prayer, and practical next steps.

Who We Serve
Our priority is to care for those within our church family (Galatians 6:10), though we are glad to serve others in our community as we are able.
Because biblical counseling is most effective within the life of a local church, we ask counselees to commit to regularly attending a Bible-teaching church during the counseling process.
Our Convictions
We believe:
- The Bible is sufficient for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3)
- Lasting change happens at the level of the heart (Luke 6:45)
- The local church is God’s primary context for care
- Growth is a process of sanctification, not instant change
